Recipe from Tiffany over at one of my favorite recipe blogs, She creates some amazing clean eating recipes!

  • 1 pound whole wheat penne pasta, cooked
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean, ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 15 ounce can tomato sauce, no sodium is best
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese


  1. Go ahead and get your pasta started.
  2. While the pasta boils, heat up the olive oil in a large skillet and cook the turkey meat.
  3. Meanwhile, mix the basil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, honey, vinegar, water, and tomato sauce in a large bowl.
  4. Add in the cooked pasta and meat to the tomato sauce and thoroughly mix together.
  5. Put the mixture into a baking dish and top it with the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake the dish at 350* for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

  • I must ask did you mean for it to say 1 1/2 pounds lean, ground turkey AND 1 teaspoon lean, ground turkey?

  • NO! I didn’t mean for that at all! :) Blame it on pregnancy brain. I fixed it to say dried oregano. Thank you SOOOO much for letting me know. I sincerely appreciate it!
